Juan Luna's "The Blood Compact", also known as "El Pacto de Sangre", is an 1886 oil painting depicting the 1565 Sandugo (blood compact) between Spanish conquistador Miguel Lopez de Legazpi and Datu Sikatuna of Bohol. The painting, which was completed in Paris, symbolizes the treaty of friendship forged between the two leaders and is currently displayed at Malacañan Palace, the the official residence of the Philippine President.
